WOW... It has been nearly 2 years, and so much has happened!!

Well.. I haven't posted in almost 2 years!!! A lot has happened, I've turned 30, and with the success of IVF, I conceived twins!!!! on our first try!!!

We welcomed baby girl Saylor Grace and baby boy Brady James on October 17,2009. They are growing little weeds and are turning 9 months this weekend!!

I went on bed rest at 251/2 weeks and stayed in the hospital nearly 8 weeks until they arrived at 33 weeks. Both were healthy and needed no assistance!!! Saylor weighed in at 4.1 and Brady 4.0 they stayed in the hospital for nearly 4 weeks, just to gain weight and to learn how to feed!!

I can say this has been the most enjoyable year of my life. They are great babies, started sleeping through the night when they were 3 months old, and are the happiest little angels. I will post pics to show you their beautiful smiles!!!

Hope all is well with everyone, and great to be back in the scene!! Take Care!!!

Just a small update!

I went to my doctor's appointment today. Had an SIS scan done, and everything looks wonderful they say. I even had about 6 follicles over 8mm, which is great from my understanding with only being on day 8 of my cycle!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!! Also, Dr. N stated that I was to late into my cycle to start my birth control, so he advised me to start next cycle on day 4. Which means yet again I'm pushing back IVF. Although I'm hoping for a positive right at Christmas!! Wouldn't that be the best present a girl could ask for!?! Thanks to everyone for their continued support!! xoxo

Oh yeah, stay tuned!!

Okay.. It's been awhile!!

So it's been a few weeks, but there wasn't much to tell, until now!

I did talk to the doctor today, and I have a appointment Thursday for all my blood work and also my SIS scan (make sure my uterus is in good shape!!) to see if I can start my Loestrin 24 (yuck) for 3 weeks. Then, I go back the 1st of November to start my shots, and monitoring of my cycle and how many follicles that I'm producing. Then, I will hopefully get the clear and be able to do egg retrieval!! I'm hoping and praying for a positive test result by the end of November!!

Stay tuned!!

Thanks!

The latest news!

Okay, so I talked to my doctor yesterday and they are currently in the middle of an office move. With that being said, they will not be doing egg retrieval until October, something about the facility needs to be confirmed that its sanitary and germ free. So what does this mean? It just simply means that I won't start as early as I had hoped. I will now start meds the end of October into November and hopefully will be able to do embryo transfers in the middle of November!!! So keep us in your prayers!! In the meantime I have lots of blood work, and other tests in September!! Stay tuned :0) Have a blessed day.

My very first blog entry!!!

Bare with me family, friends, and new friends to come. I'm new with blogging!!!

I have created this page for the future updates to come regarding my fertility journey!! Hopefully its a short one and we can move straight into life as a new parent. More interesting topics.

I have been in contact with a few different doctors, everyone has their part. It started with my first conversation regarding whether or not I was a candidate for IVF (in vitro fertilization) which I was cleared for this past week. Yeppie!! Now onto more procedures! I will start my meds hopefully this coming September, (unless they decide to push it to Oct.) with that said if I start meds this Sept. it will entail 2 shots daily for 13days, then egg retrieval will be done at the end of that cycle and approx. 3 to 5 days later if they have nice quality embryo's they will do an embryo transfer back into the uterus and about 10 days later we will see if they attached to the uterine wall, and if so then I will receive a positive pregnancy test!! Not as difficult as it sounds I'm assured! So keep me in your prayers. Thank you! Have a blessed Day.
